The customer success story of Controlmatik


 This is a specialized Croatian company that develops and implements solutions for the treatment of drinking, wastewater, and pool water, with a particular focus on automation and in-house equipment production. The company has been operating since the early 1990s and, through years of experience, has built a reputation as a technologically advanced and reliable partner in the industry. 

Controlmatik is a small to medium-sized enterprise offering complete solutions - from design and consulting to delivery and system maintenance – often tailored to clients’ specific needs. It particularly stands out through the application of modern technologies (e.g., automation and IoT) and collaboration with international partners, reflecting a focus on quality, innovation, and long-term business relationships. Ultimately, it is a professional, technically oriented B2B customer seeking reliable and advanced solutions rather than standard products.


Initial situation of the customer


Before implementing the solution, Controlmatik had business processes spread across multiple locations and tools, without a standardized system. Data and information were not centralized, which made monitoring and analysis difficult, while operations required significant time and resources for coordination and manual data entry. This way of working hindered timely decision-making and reduced operational efficiency.


The challenge


Controlmatik used Excel and various ad-hoc tools for record-keeping, which did not allow effective warehouse supervision, tracking of goods and materials, or process standardization. The lack of a centralized system made planning, control, and business transparency difficult, representing a significant challenge in maintaining operational efficiency and timely decision-making.  


The success


e-Sustavi implemented the solution through the Odoo system, tailored to Controlmatik’s specific needs.
